So today while I was cleaning my house and doing my usual housewife chores I asked my three year old if he would clean his room for mommy. Happily, literally with a huge smile, he replied "sure mommy". How blessed am I to have such a helpful little man around when I need one. As I finished up dusting all the shelves and countertops in the living room I heard "I'm done!" being yelled from his room. He then came barreling around the corner with a huge smile on his face and said "You and daddy are gonna be so proud of me." I couldn't help but smile when I entered his room and found this:
The little man cleaned his room alright. Not by actually putting things where they belonged in his room but but stacking EVERYTHING on top of his toy bucket. I gave him a huge hug, a sticker for his chart, and left it just like that.
Way to go little man, way to go.
