My husband like most husbands insist on holding onto every t-shirt, sweatshirt, ripped jeans and pair of socks they had since middle school. After countless requests for him to please de-clutter and sort through is closet I decided to do it myself this week. I thew out every shirt with a ring on the collar, or hole in it. If it was faded or was in regards to childish cartoons or dating it also went into the trash. If it was marked size small (which my husband is not) it was also deemed unworthy and sent to the garbage.
In return I bought my wonderful husband 10 new t-shirts to wear and granted him total go ahead to go buy himself a new wardrobe and left him a total of about five complete outfits; five bottoms, five tops, and three nice ties left in the closet.
Let this be a lesson to housewives everywhere.
If you want something done you have to do it yourself...and then deal with the whining that comes with cleaning your mans closet out.

I'm glad Curt doesn't do that! I would totally purge his whole closet if he did!
